I want to be a fully-fledged geisha. And I know I can do it.

Tattooed Beauty... (In which Chu shows off)

So I eventually got around to finishing Chu's tattoos :3 I wasn't too fond of what I had already done, so I wiped it completely and started with a blank canvas, so to speak. Anyway, Chu now has a full back piece and sleeve on one arm (and extending slightly onto his chest.)- I'm not sure if it's EXACTLY what Hazel had in mind, but, considering I freehanded of just freehanded the entire sleeve and most of the back (except for the dragon's head- I traced it to get a better result), I'm seriously happy with how it turned out. So here he is!

Back Piece- Dragon with Scroll. The Kanji mean "Grown Man", "Power", "Blood", "Heart" and "Together" (according to my Genshi booklet anyway).

These Kanji read "Love is Blind" (I didn't paint these- they were a transfer tattoo I found in my makeup bag from halloween a few years back).

The Last Meet...

For now, anyway.
So, I got to go to my last doll meet before I leave yesterday. It was fun- I got to give Clare her birthday present from me and Hazel, and I got to say goodbye to everyone ;_; I also got to take some good photos of Vikenti and Jin, which was nice. I also seriously want a Volks doll as well now. Christin's girl is gorgeous! *jealousface*

I didn't take as many photos as usual- mainly because I wasn't in the mood, and wanted to wander around the museum a bit. Another time, maybe I'll get some better pictures. Possibly if I'd been able to take Chu as well, I could have gotten some adorable photos of him and Jin ;__; Jin's photographs came out quite well- he's a natural in front of a camera. Vikenti, not so much. He looks distinctly under the weather (AKA hung over) and quite depressed as well. I also was the willing victim for the 'human faceplant' - photo to come as soon as I get it from Clare/Ren (whichever one of them has it). Trust me, the photo will be fairly self-explanatory as to what the Human Faceplant is, if you can't figure it out :).

CrymsenRose was also introduced to BJDs properly yesterday. She'd met Jin, but never any other doll other than that. She spent the day carrying Vikenti around (and despite complaining how sore her arms were from holding him, wouldn't put him down she liked him so much) and boy did he test her! =D Crym also got her first taste of Japanese food in Sakura- for her to say anything is really good is high praise especially from her- but she loved it 8D and we have two new chocolate mochi converts- AKA Crym and Christin! *happyface* that stuff is soooo good. So, Ginger Tree is our next stop at some point in the next week or so :3 can't wait! Anyway; Pictures!

Pretty, but not so witty or wise... (Image Heavy / Photostory)

So, the other day I went shopping for doll-related stuff, and came home with some Citadel Purity Seal to use for face-ups. I've heard mixed reviews about the stuff, but seriously? Works a charm for me AND it's not sticky like the Montana Gold was! As a result, Jin finally has a faceup I'm pretty darned happy with. So, in celebration, I decided to do a little photoshoot with him, even though the light, by this time was getting quite bad. See, my Mum has this little sofa thing she bought for her Boyds Bears- it's pretty perfect MSD size. So Jin posed and preened on the sofa...

In other news, not a lot is happening in my world. Still practising faceups, scrounging for cash, looking for decent music, and trying to sort through some of my stuff to possibly sell and make a little extra cash for uni.
Gave Kenta a tattoo, but I think I'll wipe and start again- it looks okay- but it didn't go ENTIRELY to plan... Looks messier than I intended.
I can't believe it... this time next week, I'll know exactly where I'm going, what I'm doing for the next 3-4 years... scary prospect. No matter what, it involves me leaving home, and travelling farther than I've ever travelled for an education. It might be worth it, but the prospect is still a daunting one.
I'll miss my friends and family most of all, but what is breaking my heart more than anything else, is the prospect of having to leave my beloved kitty cat, Major, at home.
I know it sounds so silly, but, stupid as it sounds, I'll miss him puking on my bed, miaowing and clawing at my door at 5am to be let in for cuddles, sitting on my head and purring incessantly when I really need to sleep, spontaneously deciding he's lost the use of his legs and whining to be picked up and carried, playing hot water bottle for me on cold winter nights, or when I have my period, letting me cry in his fur when I'm sad, and hiding like a ninja behind doors and pouncing my ankles as I walk by... my little baby... I'm going to miss him so much...

But, er, yes, to my friends, I'll miss you all just as much. Especially since none of you have developed a habit of puking on me, biting/scratching me, or sneaking into my bed at ungodly hours of the morning.
I love you all.

My family, well, that goes without saying, really, doesn't it? :)

But I did feel the need to provide a lengthy explanation of why I'll miss my little cutie cat so much. He's the best pet a girl could have :)

I'll miss doll meets too... Hopefully there are other doll owners in Oxford or Cambridge that I can make friends with :) if not, well, my boys are just going to have to be content with one another... at least until the summer anyway, when I hope to be able to bring my next boy home :)
Then after that, a girl, I swear!!! >_>

Anyway, I suppose it's getting late, and I'd like to watch some more old cartoons like Beetlejuice and Hey Arnold before I go to bed.

Weird Dreams~

Jeepers creepers, I did NOT sleep well last night! I seemed to have been cursed with a BIZZARE series of dreams...
First, I dreamed that one of my uncles was dead. Not much else to it, other than that it wasn't really being made a big deal of...


Second odd dream, I was in what I knew was the Dundonald Ice Bowl, but it was more like a giant arcade of some sort. I was there with Alison, Rebekah, Alannah and Rosalind and some others I can't remember the names of. Anyway, we were all just kind of hanging out there, and I ended up coming across this guy, about my age, (I think he said his name was Nicky) and he was crying. I thought he looked sad so I went to see what was up with him. He told me he'd been ill all day, and that it was his birthday, and everything was just turning out shit for him so far. So I gave him a hug to cheer him up and ended up hanging out with him for a bit.
It turned out, he had a bit of a crush on me (which was awfully fast, considering he'd only just met me) and I didn't want him getting the wrong idea, so somehow or another I ended up back with my friends.
To give you an image of what he looked like- he had purple emo hair, green eyes, and was about 5ft 7. He was really sweet and kind as well~
Nonetheless, a bit weird...



Last one, I dreamt that my hair was going white. For some reason, this was awesome so I had to ring Eri, who also thought this was awesome because I could cosplay as Natsumi without needing a wig.

... so, yes, as you can see, I didn't sleep awfully well. Kept waking up =_= sooo not good.

Being Skint is no fun...

... especially when you have 101 things you want to buy. Most of them made of resin and expensive.
I kept thinking about it, especially after Jin came, that I wanted to resculpt Kenta. Now, don't get me wrong, I adore the sculpt he is at the moment, but there is another doll, whom, the more I look at, I'm seeing Kenta, exactly how I imagine him, body and all.
I could sell Kenta as he is atm, but I can't bear to get rid of Chen, so I'm just going to use him for another character of mine, though which one is proving difficult because his little face is so cute. (Little not being the best word in this situation- Kenta as he currently is stands at 71cm and is the tallest of all the BJDs in our dollie meet group, not that this is going to change- his resculpt will be on the same scale.)

Also on my list to save for are the next two dolls on my list, Natsumi (who will be my first SD girl) and Kenji (LTF boy).
My mother almost jumped for joy when I told her I was planning on getting a girl doll- she can't wait to make clothes and all things pretty and nice for her. She wasn't so happy that Kenji will be another boy. Not happy at all.
However, finding a sculpt for Natsumi is proving to be difficult. Every time I settle on one, I change my mind. I think I have a real fondness for tan dolls, because I'm thinking of making Natsumi tanned as well- I really don't want her to be pure white- it really wouldn't suit her personality, and I have an image of her in my head as a bit tan anyway- when I draw her, I always tend to colour her skin a light sort of tan colour.
She's quite an energetic, sparky girl, so getting the right look for her sculpt is proving difficult- I don't want her to look bitchy or nasty, but I don't want her to look too sad or soft-featured either.
I plan on dressing her in lots of bright, cute Japanese street fashion <3 The brighter the better. I'd almost be tempted to give her a ganguro edge... I actually quite like Ganguro fashion.

Ohh, Fortune how you mock me... All that money you're charging me in university fees would buy me some dollies and all their accessories. Stupid as it sounds, there are some doll-sized Macbooks and iphones on Etsy, and I really would like to get Jin and Vikenti iphones. Vikenti also wants a Macbook. He's not getting one.
Kenta also needs a wig. Badly. Do I change the character from Kenta now and redo him, then buy Bichun when I have the cash, or do I wait until I have Bichun to change the character? O_O Help!!

Oh, and lastly. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is AWESOME. GO SEE IT. NOW. IN 3D. Pleeeease <3 Had an awesome time seeing it twice with some of my besterest buddies <333 you guys are awesomeness personified.

"I'm not fat, I'm just big-boned!"

Waaaaait, no, that's Cartman's excuse.

I went shopping with my mum today. And walking around Primark, looking for summer clothes, I thought I was going to cry- no kidding, I almost teared up at one stage.
All because most of the stuff I liked in the shop was too small for me.
Now, I'll admit I'm a tad overweight, but I wouldn't call myself fat. I'm a size 12-14 on bottom, and a size 16 on top (if it weren't for my chest, a size 12-14 would be fine, but THAT is the curse of big boobs).
Whilst yes, I DO need to lose some weight for health's sake, I don't appreciate being made to feel like an overgrown whale every time I go shopping for clothes. I'll NEVER in my life be a size 6, and I wouldn't want to be. But at the same time, it's very frustrating when you can only seem to find the nicest tops and shorts in a size 6-8.

I got a few things still, nonetheless. But this is why I hate clothes shopping. Skinny girls, I hate you. You're unrealistic, plastic and unhealthily skinny 99% of the time, everywhere caters to your clothing needs, I'm sick and tired of seeing your anorexic stick-thin bodies plastered all over my magazines, and I'd like you to choke on your singular lettuce leaves please.
I'll be eating HEALTHILY if you need me. And that includes the odd Cheeseburger from good ol' Micky D's.

THANK GOODNESS JEDWARD DIDN'T WIN.

Had to get that off my chest :) they, as expected, sucked. United Kingdom- shame on you! Blue were singing FLAT for crying out loud. Sweden, France and Russia were my personal favourites- Sweden just pipped at the post by Italy for second place!
Also... I didn't know Azerbaijan was even in Europe. *is not exactly a geography whizz*

I'll give Azerbaijan this. Their entry was good. But I think Sweden or Russia should have won. Also, Ireland, we gave you our 12 points!! Six is not good enough! D:

It all keeps adding up, I think I'm crackin' up...

Much <3 for Green Day and Basket Case! :D they've been my favourite band since I was 12!
And, whilst I do love their new music, nothing beats the old favourites <3

In other news, my payment to Angell Studio cleared and now I just have to wait for them to ship my new boy!!! I can't wait! >w< Got to save a little cash, then get him eyes, a wig and some clothes. Plus, my other two are long overdue a little spoiling :D To Dollmore!

Meeting up with some friends tomorrow in Belfast after Japanese- can't wait because I haven't seen Silver in ages ^^ and I have to give her her birthday present :) Then on Sunday having a little meet in Belfast again with Hazel! Hope Kenta's new clothes arrive in time so I can take him too- he and Vikenti need some cute photos taken. Also there will be photospam of Hazel's new boy, Chu ^^ yay!
Also, I knew Aussie's three-minute miracle was good for human hair (it makes my frizz just disappear), but I swear it worked wonders on dollie wigs. Vikenti's wig, after a fifteen-minute conditioning this week, became SO much more manageable. It's so soft <3 and it makes him smell lovely! Which is good, because sometimes resin doesn't have the most pleasant scent in the world... Kenta's not too bad though, and I would expect him to positively REEK because he's much newer than Vikenti (who came to me second hand from a friend, poor thing suffered a horrendous earmod so she couldn't bond with him. Well if she don't want him, I'm more than happy to have him <3). Still, nonetheless, I'll maybe give Kenta's new wig a quick condition when I eventually get around to buying him one that fits...

Also, the need to study for exams is back! Found out my last exam is the 20th of June- day before my birthday- thank goodness for that! I'm sitting seven exams in May/June- 1 AS Exam, 4A2, then the calculator and non-calcluator papers for Module 5 of GCSE maths, at which this is my third attempt :P fun fun fun- NOT. Especially when you're being taught Geography by a gnome who does nothing but waffle about living in India. xDDD

Well, I shall leave you with your sanity, because I can't be bothered ranting anymore. Not that anyone is actually reading my waffle, but who cares <3 I think I could get into this bloggy thing.

Well, other than the usual blogging stuff, I'll be using this blog to keep track of my BJD hobby, new dolls, box openings and the like :) I really should have taken photos or something of my other dolls' box opening. But I didn't :/ was so excited I never thought to.

So, currently, I have two ABJDs (Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls) - both boys. Their names are Vikenti and Kenta, and they're based very closely on two characters from the manga (or novel :/) I plan to write (More about that some other time).
My next doll is, as we speak, not even made as Angell-Studio (the company I'm buying him from) have to wait for my ECheque payment to clear :/ fun times. Says on my Paypal it's pending 'til Sunday. So, I guess he will be in the production stage this time next week :) can't wait!

Secondly, I might stick the odd interesting dream up here, but, if you're interested in the utter randomness and crack that pops up in my dreams, I do have a dream journal online (which I haven't updated in ages, but plan to~) and, um, once I remember my account password I will provide linkage.

So, on that note I will end this blog post for now because I'm running out of things to say~ haha usually I never shut up.
